@Doug: Well !! herself said come aboard and have a few Dubonnets and a bit of a craic, so how could I refuse ??. ;>)
I bet they still use a tin or two of Brasso getting the old ship up to shape, even without Queenie on board !!

@Jason Politte: Thanks Jason, the first shot I took of her was back in 1955 when I was 17 and she visited Milford Haven, I had a twelve foot rowing boat back then, and took sightseers for trips round her, I made enough cash in a week to buy my first outboard engine, so I said a quiet thank you to the old lady whille I was on board.
This will be your other ship, then!

@Ainsley: Spotless to say the least, and very interesting, even for me and i'm no royalist .
Thanks Jeff, taking care of my education - now I know what a Matelot is (Googledoes it)
"What is a Matelot | Royal Navy Memories
A Matelot evolved into a crude combination of John Dillinger, Errol Flynn, Beau
Brummel and Valentino – a swashbuckling – beer-swilling – lovemaking – LIAR!
Good, that I am an "adult" - Have a nice evening and thanks - Monika

@Shiva: He's also a hairy assed Salty Sailorman...And those are just his good points !! . Almost the weekend again so enjoy whats left of the week . ;>))
Love the bell, the thoughts of the Brasso, and the ingenuity of a young fellow earning funds for his first outboard motor. This is a great documentation, Jeff. ;D
